In 2020 the 2nd XI were due to begin a fifth consecutive season in Surrey Championship Division 2, until the regular season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

New skipper Matt Cannon is injured, so vice captain Aaron Crane will be looking to steady the ship in the one off 2020 AJ Fordham & Fullers Challenge Cup competition.
